Full Spectrum of NY, LLC is the national market leader in the development of mixed use and mixed income green buildings in emerging urban markets. This leadership has been established through work on its award winning flagship project 1400 on 5th in Harlem; the Kalahari Condominium in Harlem and its consulting work on the award winning Solaire at Battery Park City. Full Spectrum’s green development strategy provides triple bottom line returns while creating sustainable urban communities.
As a developer or a construction manager, Full Spectrum has been responsible for the production of more than one million square feet of residential, institutional and commercial real estate, with some two million square feet currently in its pipeline.
Full Spectrum of NY was formed in 1988 by Walter J. Edwards and Carlton A. Brown.
Our Philosophy
Full Spectrum believes that development and investment in emerging urban communities must do more than create shelter. These beliefs are informed by the findings of the United Nations Habitat 2, Conference on Human Settlement, the Millennium Development Goals and subsequent related UN documents. The firm believes that investment in emerging urban communities must be structured to contribute to economic, social, cultural and environmental sustainability of today’s community without compromise to future generations.
As a unique team of expert managers, who are capable of providing first quality development and construction services in markets and communities throughout the world, the firm is committed to diversity in its work and its hiring. Full Spectrum sees itself as an active participant in the processes that shape the built environment. Where others see barriers, Full Spectrum sees opportunities.
All of the firm’s work shares common goals and themes: the development of real estate in a sustainable manner that encompasses the economic, environmental, social and cultural aspects of life.
