Since the early 1980s, Full Spectrum has served in a variety of roles in construction projects in the New York Metropolitan area and beyond. Below are samples of current projects.

Kalahari Condominium
Harlem's Hybrid Home, Where Luxury Means Green
The Kalahari Condominium, currently under construction will be a residential, retail and community facility, designed to meet the United States Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED high performance standards. Some 250 units will be available to a mixture of income groups - half will be considered affordable housing - within the economic reach of middle to low-income households and half will be for market-rate households.
The My Image is a multifaceted entertainment venue which will show motion pictures targeting the Black and Hispanic urban market as its centerpiece. Located within Harlem's Kalahari Complex as its own condominium unit, My Image will offer unique options in entertainment - movies and live performances, dining, and learning. It will occupy 20,000 square feet of space that includes three theaters, upscale concessions, café, full service restaurant and bar, and a post production facility for professionals and students in the media arts.
Studebaker Building
Columbia University's Manhattanville Expansion
The renovation of the former Studebaker automotive assembly building is the initial project in Columbia University’s Manhattanville Project of growth and renewal in West Harlem. The project scope included Core and Shell infrastructure upgrades and phased window replacement of 210,000 GSF, entire 3rd, 4th & 5th floor fit-out for use by administrative University departments of 105,000 GSF, new lobby level space on newly created slab with direct access from 131st Street, Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fire protection system upgrades, new elevators and new telecommunications systems. The renovation is scheduled for completion in 2007.
1400 on 5th
Smart, Green, and Affordable
As New York City’s first green condominium, 1400 on 5th has received world-wide attention by proving that green doesn’t have to cost more. The project includes the largest residential geothermal system in the United States for heating and cooling which helped it reduce energy consumption by 37% below state energy code. Completed in Fall 2004, the building consists of 129 Condo Residential units- two thirds of which were affordable up to 120% AMI- and seven commercial spaces.
As the United States' first Green High-rise Residential building, the Solaire stands as a lower Manhattan landmark. Certified LEED Gold, Full Spectrum participated in the Solaire as consultants with the high performance and green technologies. The Solare has many innovative green features including a state of the art black water system, a Building Integrated Photovoltaic System, gas fired chillers and heat recovery from mechanical systems. The 27-story, 293 unit glass and brick rental residental tower was completed in 2003.
Jacobi Hospital
Project Management Services
Full Spectrum provided the Dormitory Authority State of New York project management services for design and installation of high performance mechanical and electrical systems for their new $125 Million new medical facility. The project was completed in 2005.
Regal UN Hotel Plaza
New York, NY
Full Spectrum Hotel Partners purchased the hotel from the City of New York for $110 Million. Full Spectrum was responsible for facility upgrade, including addition of digital infrastructure. The 425-room five-star facility located directly across First Avenue from UN Headquarters was successfully sold in 1999 after repositioning the hotel.
